What we have here, is not a failure to communicate.  The message from the boys at GOP central is clear, and understood.  The establishment plan to crush and beat the snot out of conservatives is out there for all to see.  Having now pulled back the blinds on their inner sanctum strategies, the well-connected propagandists now feel unleashed to be themselves, hurling all the invective and personal insults they normally reserve for their back rooms.

In a desperate attempt to hold on to their power the Virginia GOP has had a concerted effort to marginalize the Tea Party and define them as "Radicals" "Racists" & "Nativist" ( ask Tito Munoz and Shaun Kenney what that is) they've had their online GOONS harassing & bullying tea party members in blogs , on facebook and at GOP meetings. I say that Virginia Tea Party Americans should take the hint and accept the fact that we are unwelcomed in today's Republican Party of Virginia. We should stop supporting them with our time and money and come election day we should stay home.

People like Brian Schoeneman , Bill Bolling and Shaun Kenney have said that tea party people are to RADICAL for the GOP, they have said that we scare independents from joining the party. So then,why should we stay where we're not welcome? Let them try to win elections without us. NO DONATIONS, NO VOLUNTEERING, NO VOTING.

Tea Party Movement No Longer Funny

"the Tea Party movement - have in less than two years not merely changed American politics, but reversed its direction entirely.

Tuesday's results make clear the Tea Party is the most dynamic and successful grass-roots political movement since Thomas Jefferson and James Madison organized the Democratic-Republican revolt against John Adams and the Federalists in 1800.

They did so because they did exactly what they should have done. Instead of fighting specific issues and causes like Card Check and cap-and-trade, they ignored their critics while focusing their energies on finding, fielding, funding and fueling candidates for elected office at every level of government, but especially for Congress.

They worked within the system in the most direct way possible by defining the decisive issues of the 2010 campaign and putting forth candidates to replace Washington officials who refused to listen to the people during the long, hot summer of Town Hall protests in 2009.

Tea Partiers should prepare for a Long March rather than a quick fix. As Ronald Reagan put it, we didn't get into this mess overnight and we won't get out of it overnight either.

That means finding another great crop of congressional candidates for 2012 and 2014. It also means the presidential race should NOT be a Tea Party priority. Presidents stand on the bridge barking commands, to be sure, but we can thank the Founders for putting Congress in charge of the rudder.

There is, after all, a reason the Constitution makes Congress the first branch.

a bunch of tea parties, or at least one saying it was doing it for more, put out a press release announcing the birth of the National Tea Party Federation, which is not an organization, not a structure, not a new set of leaders, but an evolution of alliances of 19 tea party organizations and a handful of other groups, except for the Tea Party Patriots, which has worked overtime to be simply a volunteer group of concerned activists who neither get paid nor make money. Yeah, I have a soft spot for Tea Party Patriots living up to their ideal.

I have always worked on behalf of Tea Party Patriots, I never collected dues, held meetings or had political ambitions.. The infighting and competition between some people operating under the Tea Party Label in Virginia turned me off and left me here to operate my little tea party group through this blog and email list. It was obvious to me after the 912 March that the Tea Party meme was being swallowed up by larger more politically savvy and ambitious people who had their own political agendas and wanted to bottle the energy of a true grassroots movement. I stay true and connected to Tea Party Patriots. And Eric Erickson has a great point, now is the time to put down the protest signs and get behind candidates we want to win in 2010 and 2012. The best way is to volunteer and raise money even if the candidate doesn't live in our district

Crash the tea parties!

On April 15th thousands of right-wingers will attend rallies in cities and towns across the United States. The organizers of this nationwide day of protest call it a tea party. This tea party movement that emerged only a year ago is a coalition of conservatives, anti-Semites, fascists, libertarians, racists, constitutionalists, militia men, gun freaks, homophobes, Ron Paul supporters, Alex Jones conspiracy types and American flag wavers. If the tea party movement continues to grow in size and strength there is a big chance they will dominate this country in the near future. If the tea party movement takes over this country they will really hurt poor people by getting rid of social programs like food stamps, unemployment benefits, disability benefits, student aid, free health care, etc. The tea party movement will say these programs must be gotten rid of because hard-working taxpayers cannot afford to pay for these things especially when the economy is in a depression. There are three options we have with the tea party movement:

1. Organize counter-protests against the tea party demonstrations, same time, same place. This is probably the best option. We need to get in the streets on April 15th and show the tea party movement that there are lots of people out there who oppose their agenda.

2. Get individual tea party protesters to leave the right-wing and move to the left politically. That would involve passing out stuff like this at the tea party demonstrations: http://www.anarchist-studies.org/node/299

There has been accusations from the left that members of the Rally shouted racial slurs at black members of congress as they walked into the Cannon House. Well, I was on the steps of the Cannon House when they were walking in and I can tell you with certainty that no call spat on a congressman and no one called them a racial slur. They are lying, An aid was taking videos with his phone and would have recorded it and I'm sure it would be all over the news by now. These congressmen and woman walked by us looking for trouble, The media's bias towards the Tea Party movement is toxic. I implore everyone to BOYCOTT MSNBC, CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN and to cancel your subscriptions ( if you still have em) to WAPO and NYT.



My husband and I estimate at least 50,000 people showed up at the Capitol today... Gerry Connolly's rep arrogantly told us that Connolly will vote Yes ... when asked how much did it cost for Connolly to betray his country he shooed us away like we were flies....
