Mainstream "Journalists" Conspired to Cover for Obama during Campaign

Oh Yes, They Did!
Ok, I know that we all KNEW it, but now there is PROOF!

These are some of the guilty involved in the conspiracy to cover up anything negative about candidate Obama and label anyone who questioned his abilities a RACIST

Chris Hayes of the Nation
Richard Kim of the Nation
Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent
Michael Tomasky, of the Guardian
Thomas Schaller, of the Baltimore Sun as well as a political science professor
Jonathan Stein of Mother Jones
Jared Bernstein, who would go on to be Vice President Joe Biden’s top economist!!
Holly Yeager, now of the Columbia Journalism Review
Joe Conason
David Greenberg, and David Roberts of the website Grist.
Todd Gitlin, a professor of journalism at Columbia University
Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon, the New Republic etc.participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.”

Administration officials are also preparing talking points and fact sheets that lawmakers can take home with them on their Easter vacation, Obama advisers said.
The key here is there's going to have to be a very aggressive, well-thought-out and comprehensive public education campaign that helps people understand it as it comes on line."
The administration is discussing programs that could help answer such questions, officials said.

Will Obama Bailout Liberal Media?

Is the Liberal Media now demanding to be paid for their services to the democrat party?
With the media business in a state of economic distress as audiences and advertisers migrate online, the Federal Trade Commission began a two-day workshop Tuesday to examine the profound challenges facing media companies and explore ways the government can help them survive.
Among the options being discussed: tax law changes that would allow media companies to earn tax credits or become tax-exempt entities, and copyright law changes that would force search engines and other online aggregrators to compensate media companies for the content they produce.
Also on the table is a proposed change in antitrust rules to allow newspapers to jointly negotiate payments from Web sites that use their content.
The FTC is planning more workshops in the spring to discuss in greater depth the ideas that emerge this week

Sarah Palin calls out Newsweek!

From Sarah Palins Facebook page
The choice of photo for the cover of this week's Newsweek is unfortunate. When it comes to Sarah Palin, this "news" magazine has relished focusing on the irrelevant rather than the relevant. The Runner's World magazine one-page profile for which this photo was taken was all about health and fitness - a subject to which I am devoted and which is critically important to this nation. The out-of-context Newsweek approach is sexist and oh-so-expected by now. If anyone can learn anything from it: it shows why you shouldn't judge a book by its cover, gender, or color of skin. The media will do anything to draw attention - even if out of context.

- Sarah Palin
I'm so happy she is fighting back. Too many Republicans allow the media and so called "journalists" to define them and bully them. It took a woman to finally say enough !

The Lefts Chickens are Coming Home

Little hope, less change, lots of uncertainty, and Democrats who went from revolutionary fervor to the boring Ministry of Truth in less than nine months.

Approved News and Opinion brought to you by Obama

Tom Maguire
Having explained to us that Fox News cannot be trusted, Obama has taken the additional and important step of endorsing certain pundits, opinion leaders, and "journalists" as President Approved.

So who are these "trusted" professionals?

Eugene Robinson,
E.J. Dionne,
Ron Brownstein,
John Dickerson,
Rachel Maddow,
Frank Rich,
Jerry Seib,
Maureen Dowd,
Keith Olbermann,
Bob Herbert,
Gloria Borger,
Gwen Ifill.
All Liberals, all work for Liberal media.
not one among them have any integrity

Ace sums it up..
Obama whines about FoxNews' "biased" coverage, and the media say nothing, as the rest of the media knows they offer this kind of biased, partisan "analysis" every single day.

Every. Single. Day.

Borger's piece isn't particularly remarkable, except for the suggestive timing of it coming out right after her chat with Obama, in which he surely whined about every Republican who won't "help him with the mopping."

The Head-Pat Media puts this crap out there every day. And then they have the gall to call FoxNews partisan?

It only seems partisan to them because it's the opposite of the partisan messaging they engage in every single day.

When's the Next Tea Party?

Many people have asked me when the next tea party protest will be.
There are people organizing protests, the group OPERATION CAN YOU HEAR US NOW is planning to protest media outlets all over the country on October 17th which is a Saturday .

I thought about organizing a rally outside WaPo's DC headquarters, but I think it would have to be held on a weekday to impact them, since thats when all the reporters and editors are there. I decided against it because it's so soon after the incredible 912 March on DC. But this is definitely something to think about...Maybe after the Nov. elections..

But if you or anyone you know wants to organize a rally for Oct 17, at a news station or newspaper, I will do whatever I can to help you including posting here and sending out emails!

So, when's the next event? I think after the Virginia Elections. This election is very important to Obama and the Democrats! They need to win Virginia. Their Thugs at the SEIU and ACORN have been pumping MILLIONS into Virginia.
I know it's not every ones favorite thing to do and I would rather be at a rally sticking a sign in some tax and spend politicians face too, but We need to push the UNIONS back to NYC by getting the Republican team Of McDonnell , Bolling, Cuccinelli and any republican delegate elected.
Could you imagine Cuccinelli ever allowing the SEIU to run Virginia?
HEH!!

Please help out in some way.

This would be Funny if it wasn't so Pathetic

The chief elitist empty suit at Newsweek begins to wonder if Obama is also an empty suit.

guess that hopenchangy thing is losing it's luster over at Newsweek

There is only so much political mileage that can still be had by his reminding the world that he is not George W. Bush. It was the winning theme of the 2008 campaign, but that race ended nearly a year ago. The ex-president is now more ex than ever, yet the current president, who vowed to look forward, is still reaching back to Bush as bogeyman.

He did it again in that U.N. speech. The delegates wanted to know what the president was going to do about Israel and the Palestinian territories. He answered by telling them what his predecessor had failed to do. This was effective for his first month or two. Now it is starting to sound more like an excuse than an explanation.

Are the Democrats going to take over newspapers next?

Congressional Hearing on the Future of Newspapers Set For Thursday

Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney (D-N.Y.)

"I am holding the Joint Economic Committee hearing to examine the importance of newspapers to our democracy throughout our nation's history and the treacherous economic landscape they face," Maloney wrote in a statement to E&P. "The witnesses will review alternative funding options for newspapers in our new and ever-changing electronic age. Since the ratification of the Bill of Rights, the federal government has acknowledged that the press is an institution which is afforded special protections by name. In this spirit, I think that the government can help foster solutions for this industry in ways which protect the independence of newspapers and enables their objective reporting to thrive in a new economic and media climate."
