Two of the highest taxed states with high unemployment rates just reelected the same party that got them where they are. Both BIG UNION states! hmmmm..How long before "we" have to bail them and their bankrupt pension system out?
More HERE

and from RedState
This was a Tsunami

The North Carolina Legislature is Republican for the first time since 1870. Yes, that is Eighteen Seventy.

The Alabama Legislature is Republican for the first time since 1876.

For those saying this is nothing because it is the South, consider these:

The entire Wisconsin and New Hampshire legislatures have flipped to the GOP by wide margins.

The State Houses in Indiana, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Ohio, Iowa, Montana, and Colorado flipped to the GOP.

The Maine and Minnesota Senates flipped to the GOP.

The Texas and Tennessee Houses went from virtually tied to massive Republican gains. The gains in Texas were so big that the Republicans no longer need the Democrats to get state constitutional amendments out of the state legislature.

These gains go all the way down to the municipal level across the nation. That did not happen even in 1994.

How Virginia's Congressmen Voted ON GIVING FEDERAL EMPLOYEES A 30 BILLION $$ RAISE

from Eric Cantors website..

As part of his FY 2011 Budget submission President proposed raising federal civilian pay by 1.4% beginning in January of next year. This will be on top of the 2.0% raise federal civilian employees received this past January, the 3.9% raise they received the previous January, and the 3.5% raise they received the January before that. Freezing federal civilian pay at the current level for one year would save approximately $2 billion next year and $30 billion over ten years.

The Up-Or-Down Vote On This Cut

Each week, the public votes on one of five wasteful spending items, then the House votes on the item chosen by the people. You told Washington where you stood, here is how your Representatives in Washington stood.

VOTED NO TO CUT

Look Who Embraces ALL of Obama's FAILED and UNPOPULAR POLICIES!

Why non other than Richard Anthony, one of Frank Wolf's democratic challengers...and yes, folks he's bragging about it. Way to go Mr Anthony, I'm sure any day now, TARP, Obamacare, Cap and Tax and throwing money we don't have after SOCIALIST programs will become popular with the American people...

Mr Anthony took all of Obama's policies and talking points and simply cut and pasted them on his website. He also has contempt for the TEA PARTY MOVEMENT

Tea Party 48% Obama 44% On major issues, 48% of voters say that the average Tea Party member is closer to their views than President Barack Obama.

He has also recently twittered that he misses Chuck Caputo and hates peeps Easter candy... come on, is his campaign some kind of joke?

and then there is this...

This twitter message from Richard Anthony, who is running for the democrat nomination to face Frank Wolf, in Virginia’s 10th District says it all.

Watching Jim Moran on MSNBC. He makes me proud to be a Democrat and I look forward to working with him in Congress once we beat Frank Wolf.

Jim Moran is one of the most corrupt and incompetent Congressmen from Virginia.

Virginian's deserve better, hell, even liberals deserve better.

Frank Wolf Springs Into Action!

via Instapundit.
FRANK WOLF IS CALLING FOR A CONGRESSIONAL PROBE into the dismissal of the New Black Panther case.
Rep. Frank R. Wolf of Virginia told Inspector General Glenn A. Fine in a letter he was "disappointed" in Mr. Fine's "reluctance to investigate the unfounded dismissal of an important voter intimidation case," adding that despite repeated requests for information by members of Congress, the press and the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, the Justice Department "continues to stonewall all efforts to obtain information regarding the cases abrupt dismissal.

"This obstruction should be of great concern to you and merit an immediate investigation," Mr. Wolf said. "Given that neither the Congress nor the commission can obtain critical information from the department, your authority as inspector general is the only way to learn whether the department has engaged in improper conduct with regard to the dismissal of this case and its hostility to the commissions statutory authorities and responsibilities."

He also questioned statements made by New Black Panther Party leader Malik Zulu Shabazz, who he said has been quoted issuing threatening comments toward him and Rep. Lamar Smith, Texas Republican, both of whom have sought information on the case.

According to Mr. Wolf, Mr. Shabazz recently issued a statement that said: "These right-wing white, red-faced, red-neck Republicans are attacking the hell out of the New Black Panther Party, and were organizing now to fight back … We gearing up for a showdown with this cracker … He keep talking — we going to Capitol Hill, were just gearing up right now, well go to Capitol Hill."

Mr. Wolf said, "When laws arent enforced, lawless men like Mr. Shabazz feel more emboldened to spread their intimidation."
