After the Reclaiming the Capitol ceremony, we'll head over to the Hyatt on Capitol Hill for an unforgettable night of Tea Party Patriots fun, festivities, and election watching.
In true tea party fashion we'll host a sign making party for room decorating.
Ava Aston will sing "We the People" and other great songs throughout the evening. A delicious buffet will be served, a no-host bar will be available. Dress is a casual - the atmosphere relaxed.
We worked so hard to get here - now it's time to have some fun!
We'll watch the election returns on two 50" screens. Wireless access will be available for web browsing and chatting with friends. We'll use the latest technology to bring you up-to-the minute election results.
Join us, hang out with your friends, and watch the change sweeping the nation as the results pour in.

VOTER FRAUD IN VIRGINIA, TOO..

Warning of possible fraud, Richmond's registrar Kirk Showalter said yesterday that someone has been going door-to-door in Richmond soliciting sensitive information in the guise of registering people to vote.

"The public needs to know that my office is not conducting any such drive and, if we did, my staff would show the proper identification before asking such information," she said.

The person was going door-to-door and identifying himself as being with "the local voter registration office," Showalter said.

The person told a householder that he wasn't registered to vote and that, if they gave him their personal information (name, date of birth, social security number and address), then he could get him registered to vote.

The person had no voter registration applications and did not provide any identification, Showalter said.

"My concern is fraud," she said.

Gee, I wonder which party is responsible? Be diligent this Tuesday, if you vote using the machine, make sure your vote goes through properly. Make sure they are checking ID's at the poll, watch for anything suspicious... and even if you're unsure, report any suspicions to both poll watchers who are there.

1: “Shall Section 6 of Article X of the Constitution of Virginia be amended to authorize legislation that will permit localities to establish their own income or financial worth limitations for purposes of granting property tax relief for homeowners not less than 65 years of age or permanently disabled?”

2: “Shall the Constitution be amended to require the General Assembly to provide real property tax exemption for the principal residence of a veteran, or his or her surviving spouse, if the veteran has a 100 percent service-connected, permanent, and total disability?”

3: “Shall Section 8 of Article X of the constitution of Virginia be amended to increase the permissible size of the Revenue Stabilization Fund (also known as the “rainy day fund” from 10 percent to 15 percent of the Commonwealth’s average tax revenues derived from income and retail sales taxes for the preceding three fiscal years?”

During the campaign, Donna Brazile famously said that the Democrat Party no longer needed the people Obama once described as “bitter, religion-and-guns-clinging, Midwesterners”. Brazile took this further and said, outright, that the Democrat party did not need blue-collar white voters, the Jacksonian voters, the Hillary voters, because the party was “Obamafied” and would win elections for generations with the Obama coalition of blacks, Leftist elites, Hispanics, low information gay voters, and self-hating Jews.

This is all the Democrats have left, Rush.

Speaking from personal experience, as someone who has worked in fundraising for over 10 years and who has been a part of every presidential campaign since 1992, the Democrats have permanently alienated tens of millions of people who normally turned out reliably every year not just to vote Democrat, but also to write checks and otherwise participate in campaigns.

No more. Never again.

Here in Chicago, just about everyone who was part of Team Hillary efforts with me on the ground has completely divorced themselves from the Democrat Party. Being called a racist repeatedly and hearing from Donna Brazile that we are not needed will do that to a person.

But in a bigger sense, Democrats, by being so shameless and aggressive with the voter fraud in 2008 have opened too many eyes for us to ever go back to pretending that fraud and corrupt practices aren’t the hallmark of the Democrat Party.

There was a show on ABC a few years ago called Alias starring Jennifer Garner in which she played a woman working for a company called Credit Dauphine…which she was told was a front for a CIA organization called SD6. Garner’s character, Sidney Bristow, carried out her missions for SD6, overlooking different things the organization did that she might not have liked, because she thought she was doing what was best for the country. And then, one day, Sidney learned SD6 was actually an enemy of America…that it’s real mission was to destroy the country…that everything Sidney was told about SD6 was a lie. The mask came off SD6, and Sidney Bristow realized she had to work aggressively to take the whole enterprise down.

Rush (and his listeners), please hear me on this because you will not read this in the media — but just about every one of us from the Hillary 2008 campaign is a Sidney Bristow today.

Those of us who worked Democrat campaigns in the past put up with union associations and the other unsavory aspects of being a Democrat because we were told this was the only way Democrats could win…with union muscle. But, in 2008 the Democrats revealed themselves to be an SD6 conglomeration of every force in this country that wants to bring America down, tank our economy, usurp our Constitution, and lay waste to the American way of life.

Democrats took off the mask. The DNC reveled in being fully Leftist-controlled. Crazy people unapologetic in their Communist admiration took over positions of great influence not just in the DNC, but in our state and federal governments as well.

I’m horrified by that.

Hillary supporters are horrified by that.

And we have not sat back quietly to allow this to happen without a fight.

I know for a fact that people I worked with on the Hillary 2008 campaign have been actively working against every single Democrat who supported Obama’s nomination. Everyone who backstabbed Hillary Clinton is being undermined and sabotaged by people who might still be registered as Democrats but have no more loyalty to the party. Sometimes, conservative sites try to make this into a “sour grapes” sort of “Hillary’s revenge” meme — and there might be a taste of this in what’s going on — but the real driving force is that we former Democrats saw just how insane these people really are and we are now doing everything we can, behind the scenes, to use everything we know about the Democrat Party to collapse it from within.

NOW Endorses Jerry Brown For Governor One Day After He Called Whitman a “Whore”

(LA Times)- Jerry Brown announced he has received the endorsement of the National Organization for Women, less than 24 hours after the emergence of a recorded message in which Brown can be heard in a conversation with advisors in which someone calls Whitman a “whore.” Coincidence? You be the judge.

Whitman’s campaign pounced after the audio was made public, sending out a release Thursday night from spokeswoman Sarah Pompei calling the use of the term “an insult to both Meg Whitman and to the women of California. This is an appalling and unforgivable smear against Meg Whitman. At the very least Mr. Brown tacitly approved this despicable slur and he himself may have used the term at least once on this recording.”

As if on cue, Brown’s campaign Friday released the endorsement from NOW championing Brown’s record on women’s rights. “As Governor, Mayor, and Attorney General, Jerry Brown has promoted and defended women’s rights,” said California NOW President Patty Bellasalma.

“Jerry stands for fairness and equality and never ever backs down. We have every confidence that he will do the same as California’s next governor.”

Congressman John Adler's campaign and the Camden County Democratic Committee recruited ""NJ Tea Party'' candidate Peter DeStefano to confuse conservative voters and hurt Adler's Republican challenger this fall, Democratic operatives say.

"The goal was to take 5 percent of (Republican Jon) Runyan's vote,'' said a Democrat with direct knowledge of the Adler campaign and CCDC operations.

"Steve Ayscue designed the plan with Geoff Mackler following his lead.''

Ayscue is a high-profile Democratic consultant who runs the CCDC. Mackler is Adler's campaign manager.

Several South Jersey Democratic operatives with direct knowledge of the Adler campaign and CCDC operations spoke to the Courier-Post on condition of anonymity because of what they described as ethical qualms with Adler's campaign.

"From the beginning, orders have flowed from Cherry Hill,'' said one Democratic operative, referring to CCDC headquarters at Garden State Pavilions

Constitutional Amendment That Would Give States The Ability to Repeal Congressional Acts ??

What a GREAT idea!

“It restores a lot of the sovereignty and a lot of the power that the states have lost,” said Marianne Moran, executive director of RepealAmendment.org and *former executive director of Tea Party In Action.
Georgetown Law Professor Randy Barnett initially devised the idea in a 2009 Wall Street Journal opinion piece, which drew the attention of numerous Tea Party activists.

Getting the backing of 34 states, the magic number needed under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a constitutional convention, could be an uphill climb, but Moran is undaunted.

Virginia will be the first state to vote on issuing a resolution calling for a constitutional convention to discuss what Moran calls the “Repeal Amendment” when its House of Delegates convenes in January.

“The founding fathers who put together our Constitution … were very, very concerned about the power a large federal government, which … was the driving reason behind the first 10 amendments; a lot of what they feared has come to pass,” Virginia House Speaker Bill Howell told The Daily Caller. “I think it is vitally important that we restore some of that balance, which has been taken away.”

Howell hopes to get bipartisan support for the resolution when he brings it up for a vote next year, and he has been working with state legislators in other states to convince them to back similar resolutions.

The amendment would give the states the power to overturn federal laws even if they have the president’s signature.

“It takes 34 states to petition Congress and call for an Article 5 convention,” Howell said. “I think if Congress saw 30, 32 … states passing resolutions calling for the convention they would act ̶ they’ve done that in the past…They did it with the Seventeenth Amendment and with other efforts.”
