Our Country has Changed from a Republic into something else
The world will understand America has changed. Our country is now run by elites who are printing money, debasing our currency to throw at massive new spending and deficit creating programs — and actually believe they are both moral and politically smart. Just 19% of the public believes this plan will not increase the deficit.
What comes next is very discomforting to think about. But we have now crossed that line from what our country was into something else, and that something else has nothing whatsoever with the country being a Republic. There will be a reckoning for this, and it will not be pleasant — not for anyone.
Yes, Jim Webb is going to vote for it. Come on, you knew he would. Obama is using our tax dollars to buy votes from Senators and Congress people. You didn't really think Jim Webb was above that sort of thing, did you? I just wonder what Jim Webb's price was. You know that Warner came cheap, since he committed his vote early on.

Don't Get Sick in Obama's America
Harry Reid quietly inserted a loophole in the Senate health care bill that would let insurance companies put limits on medical care for folks struggling with costly illnesses — angering patient advocates, and in apparent violation of a promise made by Obama this fall.
The current bill would allow insurance companies to place annual limits on the dollar value of medical care — provided those limits are not “unreasonable,” a term the legislation doesn’t define.

Obama threatens to Destroy US Economy
Pass the Bill I want or I will destroy US economy.

Yesterday, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) ignored our comments and declared carbon dioxide to be a dangerous pollutant under the Clean Air Act—granting itself authority for an enormous, unprecedented regulatory undertaking. Because 85 percent of the U.S. economy operates on fossil fuel, the EPA would essentially have the ability to regulate every aspect of life in America.
And the economic effects of carbon dioxide regulations are grave:
· cumulative gross domestic product (GDP) losses of $7 trillion by 2029,
· single-year GDP losses exceeding $600 billion in some years,
· energy cost increases of 30 percent or more,
· and annual job losses exceeding 800,000 for several years.
This EPA announcement comes on the heels of the Climategate scandal, in which a significant number of emails and other documents from scientists at the Climate Research Unit (CRU) at East Anglia University in the United Kingdom were publicly revealed to show a blatant disregard for the scientific process and at worst a falsification of data . Whether or not these emails and documents demonstrate a deliberate cover-up of scientific data is not yet certain, but it surely is a reason to be further concerned with the notion of scientific consensus on global warming.
But regardless of the science, there is one notion all economists agree on: a cap-and-trade system will hurt our economy. Experts from the liberal Brookings Institution to the independent Congressional Budget Office to the conservative National Association for Manufacturers agree with the Heritage Foundation that taxing American energy would result in fewer jobs and lower income - the only dispute is on just how many fewer jobs and how much less income.

Liberal Fascists Attack Tea Party Protesters
ANSWER is a group who promotes anti semitism, communism, anti Americanism. They were one of the groups responsible for organizing many of the anti war protests during Bush's presidency. Obviously they are back in force to stand up for their man Barack Hussein Obama MMM MMM MM. They showed up at a anti amnesty protest in Florida and demonstrated Liberal Tolerance by beating up people who disagree with them.

Obama’s horrible September 8th tactical blunder

The left will lose their monopoly on the schools
Americans now feel their kids are being unfairly targeted, thanks to Obama’s stupid move here. He’ll get his speech done, lots and lots of teachers and faculty will use the opportunity to get a little indoctrination in, a few pro-Democrat, pro-Obama warm and fuzzies implanted into the innocent and gullible hearts of our young. But this little stunt will have gained him little, and cost him much.
But he has awakened the Ents. School boards are close to all-powerful, but they are elected on a local level. Most parents and citizens have been asleep at the wheel, especially in Republican territory. Because of this event, we are going to see MASSES of people show up at school board meetings and PTA meetings who never did before, just like the townhalls of August.
They’re going to be asking some questions:
Why did you let this happen here?
Why did we elect you anyway if you’re just gonna be a sop to the left?
You know what? We’re gonna vote you out and get some people who actually CARE about our kids running our school boards.
I should point out one thing that’s true about the upcoming school board meetings that was not true about the townhalls. There will be enough angry citizens attending in those meetings to vote out incumbents in the next election. They won’t require the media, they won’t require the Republican Party. They have kids, their neighbors and friends have kids, and no amount of teacher endorsements, union intimidation, or smooth talking will keep them from turning out ineffective or leftist school board members, the very next election.
I am telling you now, and as far as I know, I am the first to say it. Obama’s circus-stunt flyby of our nation’s public schools on September 8 will end up dealing a fatal blow to the left’s decades-long ownership of the schools in conservative territory. It won’t happen right away, and it will in fact be a long and bloody war. The left is dug in and fortified, and they’ve been playing dirty for as long as anyone can remember. But it will happen.

“President Obama announced that on September 8 – the first day of school for many children across America – he will deliver a national address directly to students on the importance of education. The President will challenge students to work hard, set educational goals, and take responsibility for their learning. He will also call for a shared responsibility and commitment on the part of students, parents and educators to ensure that every child in every school receives the best education possible so they can compete in the global economy for good jobs and live rewarding and productive lives as American citizens. This is the first time an American president has spoken directly to the nation’s school children about persisting and succeeding in school. It will be broadcast live on the White House website www.whitehouse.gov at 1:00 p.m. eastern standard time.”
This should give you an idea of the content of the message, which we feel is consistent with our mission as a school and our commitment to responsible citizenship as inspired by our namesake, Rachel Carson. We will, however, be taping and previewing the message with an eye to its appropriateness and length before showing it to the students. The message airs originally at 1:00, and our expectation is that we will be showing it right at the end of the school day."

When I pushed him several times on WHO would decide what was “appropriate” he replied “someone on the administrative team.” It didn’t make me any more comfortable to say the least.

A parent who spoke to Oakton HS reported that they have no plans to air the presidents address , not even in lunch and that the social studies dept said it didn't fit their lesson plans
When I questioned Chantilly HS this morning , the secretary there told me a decision had not been made.
Chantilly sent this email out late this afternoon
On Tuesday, Sept. 8, President Obama will speak to the nation about the importance of education. Teachers will have the option to show the televised speech during class when it airs at noon. This is supported by our Superintendent and the State Department of Education. Should you prefer not to have your child view the President’s remarks please call your subschool to opt your child out.
Their reply sound quite arrogant to me... like "take this or leave it"

OBAMA to use NEA as PROPAGANDA MACHINE

"Backed by the full weight of President Barack Obama’s call to service and the institutional weight of the NEA, the conference call was billed as an opportunity for those in the art community to inspire service in four key categories, and at the top of the list were “health care” and “energy and environment.” The service was to be attached to the President’s United We Serve campaign, a nationwide federal initiative to make service a way of life for all Americans.
The NEA is the nation’s largest annual funder of the arts. That is right, the largest funder of the arts in the nation - a fact that I’m sure was not lost on those that were on the call, including myself. One of the NEA’s major functions is providing grants to artists and arts organizations. The NEA has also historically shown the ability to attract “matching funds” for the art projects and foundations that they select. So we have the nation’s largest arts funder, which is a federal agency staffed by the administration, with those that they potentially fund together on a conference call discussing taking action on issues under vigorous national debate. Does there appear to be any potential for conflict here?

Here's how the President described the speech in a recent interview with 11 year-old reporter Damon Weaver yesterday: “On Sept. 8, when young people across the country will have just started or are about to go back to school, I'm going to be making a big speech to young people all across the country about the importance of education, the importance of staying in school, how we want to improve our education system, and why it's so important for the country. And so I hope everybody tunes in.”
this man is supposed to have gone to Harvard and be the smartest man ever to serve as POTUS? He sounds like a idiot without his teleprompter.
Anyway, the speech will be broadcast live at 1 PM at.whitehouse.gov

Congresswoman from New Hampshire has a constituent arrested at a town hall for showing her to be a liar.
Rep. Carol Shea-Porter (D-NH) finally faces her constituents on at a health care town hall on August 29, 2009. The event was held in a small, but heavily guarded conference room at the Norris Cotton Federal Building in Manchester, NH. Many of her constituents were turned away from the event due to the space limitations of the venue. Shea-Porter has spent the majority of the congressional recess attending fundraisers and closed door events with liberal bloggers and special interest groups.
