Jim Moran Insults our Men and Women in Uniform

ED MORRISSEY...Note too that it’s not as if Moran didn’t know about Murray’s service record. Moran actually sneers at it, claiming that Murray had “taken a government check” for 24 years as a member of the military, as if Murray hadn’t earned every penny of it working in defense of his nation.Via HOTAIR

NOW Endorses Jerry Brown For Governor One Day After He Called Whitman a “Whore”
via weasel zippers
Unreal.. NOW has nothing to do with womens issues, they are just a liberal group
Unreal.. NOW has nothing to do with womens issues, they are just a liberal group
(LA Times)- Jerry Brown announced he has received the endorsement of the National Organization for Women, less than 24 hours after the emergence of a recorded message in which Brown can be heard in a conversation with advisors in which someone calls Whitman a “whore.” Coincidence? You be the judge.
Whitman’s campaign pounced after the audio was made public, sending out a release Thursday night from spokeswoman Sarah Pompei calling the use of the term “an insult to both Meg Whitman and to the women of California. This is an appalling and unforgivable smear against Meg Whitman. At the very least Mr. Brown tacitly approved this despicable slur and he himself may have used the term at least once on this recording.”
As if on cue, Brown’s campaign Friday released the endorsement from NOW championing Brown’s record on women’s rights. “As Governor, Mayor, and Attorney General, Jerry Brown has promoted and defended women’s rights,” said California NOW President Patty Bellasalma.
“Jerry stands for fairness and equality and never ever backs down. We have every confidence that he will do the same as California’s next governor.”

Not ALL Tea Party Candidates are Created Equal

The only way democrats think they can win is to cheat.
via Instapundit
Congressman John Adler's campaign and the Camden County Democratic Committee recruited ""NJ Tea Party'' candidate Peter DeStefano to confuse conservative voters and hurt Adler's Republican challenger this fall, Democratic operatives say.
"The goal was to take 5 percent of (Republican Jon) Runyan's vote,'' said a Democrat with direct knowledge of the Adler campaign and CCDC operations.
"Steve Ayscue designed the plan with Geoff Mackler following his lead.''
Ayscue is a high-profile Democratic consultant who runs the CCDC. Mackler is Adler's campaign manager.
Several South Jersey Democratic operatives with direct knowledge of the Adler campaign and CCDC operations spoke to the Courier-Post on condition of anonymity because of what they described as ethical qualms with Adler's campaign.
"From the beginning, orders have flowed from Cherry Hill,'' said one Democratic operative, referring to CCDC headquarters at Garden State Pavilions

Real Clear Politics has more..
Also, during the discussion, Brown discloses that the race is tied and begs for support...... liberal men are such weasels.
CNN Jumps to action and "unexpectedly" Spins it for Brown
Just imagine if a Republican candidate's "aide" had said that? The media would be camped outside their house reporting on every aspect of their lives... NOW would be outraged, Hollywood pinheads would be making youtube video's denouncing the entire Republican Party.
And they wonder why the Tea Party exists! Unreal!
UpDate- Ed Morrissey wonders wonder whether California wants to elect a gubernatorial candidate who is not competent enough to hang up the phone.

"What about saying she’s a whore?”
Brown replies: “Well, I’m going to use that. It proves you’ve cut a secret deal to protect the pensions.”

Constitutional Amendment That Would Give States The Ability to Repeal Congressional Acts ??
What a GREAT idea!
“It restores a lot of the sovereignty and a lot of the power that the states have lost,” said Marianne Moran, executive director of RepealAmendment.org and *former executive director of Tea Party In Action.
Georgetown Law Professor Randy Barnett initially devised the idea in a 2009 Wall Street Journal opinion piece, which drew the attention of numerous Tea Party activists.
Getting the backing of 34 states, the magic number needed under Article V of the U.S. Constitution to call a constitutional convention, could be an uphill climb, but Moran is undaunted.
Virginia will be the first state to vote on issuing a resolution calling for a constitutional convention to discuss what Moran calls the “Repeal Amendment” when its House of Delegates convenes in January.
“The founding fathers who put together our Constitution … were very, very concerned about the power a large federal government, which … was the driving reason behind the first 10 amendments; a lot of what they feared has come to pass,” Virginia House Speaker Bill Howell told The Daily Caller. “I think it is vitally important that we restore some of that balance, which has been taken away.”
Howell hopes to get bipartisan support for the resolution when he brings it up for a vote next year, and he has been working with state legislators in other states to convince them to back similar resolutions.
The amendment would give the states the power to overturn federal laws even if they have the president’s signature.
“It takes 34 states to petition Congress and call for an Article 5 convention,” Howell said. “I think if Congress saw 30, 32 … states passing resolutions calling for the convention they would act ̶ they’ve done that in the past…They did it with the Seventeenth Amendment and with other efforts.”

Unemployment Keeps Rising "Unexpectedly"
Reuters
New U.S. claims for unemployment benefits rose unexpectedly last week, highlighting continued labor market weakness.
Is it any wonder that the media is a joke and journalists are less trusted today than ever before?

Government Motors donating to Democrats with Taxpayer Money
GM Resumes Political Giving
This isn't illegal but it should be. It's an outrage that GM is making political contributions with tax payer money!
The Detroit company gave $90,500 to candidates running in the current election cycle, Federal Election Commission records show.
The beneficiaries include Midwestern lawmakers, mostly Democrats, who have traditionally supported the industry's legislative agenda on Capitol Hill, including Sen. Debbie Stabenow (D., Mich.), Sen. Sherrod Brown (D., Ohio) and Rep. John Dingell (D., Mich.).
It isn't unusual for big companies like GM to spend on political campaigns, but complicating GM's situation is that the company is majority-owned by the U.S. government. GM is planning to return to the public stock markets later this year, allowing the U.S. to begin to sell off its roughly 61% stake in the company.

WJLA Fires Newsman for a Truthful Non-biased Report
WJLA-TV Channel 7 has fired veteran anchorman Doug McKelway for a verbal confrontation this summer with the station's news director that came after McKelway broadcast a sharply worded live report about congressional Democrats and President Obama.
In his piece, McKelway said the sparsely attended event attracted protesters "largely representing far-left environmental groups." He went on to say the protest "may be a risky strategy because the one man who has more campaign contributions from BP than anybody else in history is now sitting in the Oval Office, President Barack Obama, who accepted $77,051 in campaign contributions from BP."

Well, Isn't That Special...
After they voted for the stimulus. After they voted for and rammed ObamaCare down our throats. After they called us Nazi's and Racists. After they refused to listen to "We the People"...
Now they want their INDEPENDENCE from Obama, Reid and Pelosi!
Democrats from a number of states, including Texas, Ohio and North Carolina, are running away from Pelosi in a harsh political climate. Distancing one's self from the speaker is nothing new for many Democrats, including Edwards, but the number of incumbents and the volume of their criticism of the party House leader is larger than it has been in past election cycles - and the volume of their criticism is louder
Well, good luck with that
