The Faces of the People on JournoList

The pictures of some of the liberal "journalists" who were members of the left wing conspiracy group JournoList to slant the news in order to get Obama elected are Here the author of the site commented "THIS LATTE PARTY SURE LOOKS EXCLUSIONARY. IT LOOKS NOTHING LIKE AMERICA. IT LOOKS MORE LIKE THE UPPER WEST SIDE OF MANHATTAN"

None of the people on that list should ever again be considered a journalist.

Senator James Webb on Race and Racism in the USA

In the WSJ Senator Webb writes an outstanding article on America's history on race that the NAACP, and other race baiters, including President Obama are not going to like....
Diversity and the Myth of White Privilege

The old South was a three-tiered society, with blacks and hard-put whites both dominated by white elites who manipulated racial tensions in order to retain power. At the height of slavery, in 1860, less than 5% of whites in the South owned slaves. The eminent black historian John Hope Franklin wrote that "fully three-fourths of the white people in the South had neither slaves nor an immediate economic interest in the maintenance of slavery."
Nondiscrimination laws should be applied equally among all citizens, including those who happen to be white. The need for inclusiveness in our society is undeniable and irreversible, both in our markets and in our communities. Our government should be in the business of enabling opportunity for all, not in picking winners. It can do so by ensuring that artificial distinctions such as race do not determine outcomes.
Memo to my fellow politicians: Drop the Procrustean policies and allow harmony to invade the public mindset. Fairness will happen, and bitterness will fade away.

read it all and pass it on
Of course, this article, if done for political reasons, is not going to excuse Webbs voting record with the people of Virgina... come 2012, we're still planning on sending him home... more at Instapundit

Thousand Protest Obama's Drilling Moratorium

Don't count on seeing this story from any of the MSM...
Thousands attended a rally in Lafayette Wednesday aimed at convincing the Obama administration to lift the federal offshore drilling moratorium, which officials said could further endanger the state through the loss of tens of thousands of jobs.

The “Rally for Economic Survival” was held at the Cajundome and drew about 11,000 people, some dressed in their oil industry uniforms, others in shirts bearing messages of “Drill Baby Drill” and “No Moratorium.”
“We’re in the middle of a war to defend our way of life,” Jindal said, adding that the state and its people shouldn’t also have to fight the federal government.

Mainstream "Journalists" Conspired to Cover for Obama during Campaign

Oh Yes, They Did!
Ok, I know that we all KNEW it, but now there is PROOF!

These are some of the guilty involved in the conspiracy to cover up anything negative about candidate Obama and label anyone who questioned his abilities a RACIST

Chris Hayes of the Nation
Richard Kim of the Nation
Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent
Michael Tomasky, of the Guardian
Thomas Schaller, of the Baltimore Sun as well as a political science professor
Jonathan Stein of Mother Jones
Jared Bernstein, who would go on to be Vice President Joe Biden’s top economist!!
Holly Yeager, now of the Columbia Journalism Review
Joe Conason
David Greenberg, and David Roberts of the website Grist.
Todd Gitlin, a professor of journalism at Columbia University
Time, Politico, the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, the Guardian, Salon, the New Republic etc.participated in outpourings of anger over how Obama had been treated in the media, and in some cases plotted to fix the damage.

Spencer Ackerman of the Washington Independent urged his colleagues to deflect attention from Obama’s relationship with Wright by changing the subject. Pick one of Obama’s conservative critics, Ackerman wrote, “Fred Barnes, Karl Rove, who cares — and call them racists.”
Get the full scoop at the Daily Caller
UPDATE- Lee Bollinger the president of Columbia, wrote in the Wall Street Journal that American journalism is dying and should be bailed out by the government hat tip bigjournalism

Biden Fined $219,000 By Federal Election Commission

Washington Examiner reports..

The Federal Election Commission has penalized Vice President Joe Biden’s 2008 presidential campaign $219,000 for accepting over-the-limit contributions and a discounted flight on a jet owned by a New York hedge fund. His campaign also was charged with sloppy record-keeping.

Biden’s campaign has indicated it will pay the penalty to the U.S. Treasury to resolve the campaign finance compliance issues, which were revealed in an audit report released Friday by the commission.

I wonder if they will ever get around to investigate Obama's 2008 contributions...

About that Finance Bill that Webb and Warner Helped Pass...

from HotAir
Expect more fees on more transactions, including paying premium prices for doing business face to face with bank tellers and other employees. Banks will start demanding higher minimum balances and start charging higher fees on accounts that don’t make the cut. Bank of America will lose between $7 and $10 billion just on charges for debit and credit cards alone, money that will get made up by its customers somewhere.

In short, the bill will erode consumer buying power, harm retirement accounts that rely on the performance of financial institutions, and create more unemployment. What exactly did we get in return for all of this? An expansion of the regulatory bureaucracy that spent more time watching porn than protecting consumers the first time around

Gerry Connelly Caught Plagiarizing!

This man is so corrupted, he can't even make a campaign video without breaking the law or stretching the rules!
Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-11) busted for plagiarism

More HERE..
“When Gerry Connolly’s staff isn’t spending their time condemning ‘fighting wasteful spending and getting the economy moving ‘as ‘extremist’ views, they are simply making things up to shift attention from Connolly’s radical, big government record, including the failed $800 billion stimulus, the job killing cap and trade bill, and the mismanaged, trillion dollar government health care takeover.
“Connolly bankrupted Fairfax County and now he is rubber stamping the
reckless policies that are bankrupting America.”
AND HERE
If a politician found he had cannibals among his constituents, he would promise them missionaries for dinner.

Gerry Connolly Makes a Fool of Himself... Again

Proves to the world he's a moron...

via HOTAIR

CONNOLLY: I’m telling you, they ( Republicans) don’t have an open mind. They have publicly expressed that they do not favor — you know, they’re all for deficit reduction as long as anything having to do with revenue is off the table. Can we get to serious deficit reduction — change that trajectory you talked about — if we eliminate half of the ledger sheet?

BERNANKE: Well, theoretically you could if you cut enough, but it would be very difficult to do that.

CONNOLLY: Is there enough spending to be cut?

BERNANKE: Of course! I mean … [laughs]

CONNOLLY: National defense, homeland security?

BERNANKE: That’s your judgment, that’s the Congress’ judgment. That’s not my judgment.

CONNOLLY: Ah. Um … it must be nice to be an economist.
